The codes here come from the Modernist DOB30M977 single and double wall oven manual. Earlier Dacor wall ovens use different controls and codes, so the model plate decides which list applies.
The reservoir opens from the panel
The water reservoir for the steam modes sits above the oven opening and ejects when you touch OPEN/CLOSE RESERVOIR. It takes 22 oz of drinkable water and retracts at the same touch.
Control Lockout also locks the door
Holding LOCK locks the touchpad and the oven doors, and it works only when the oven is under 400 °F. If the door stays locked after a tripped breaker, Dacor's fix is to activate Control Lockout and then unlock it.
The Clean menu does four jobs
Self-Clean, GreenClean, Descale and Draining all sit under the Clean feature. Descale and Draining look after the steam system, which is why they live next to the cavity cleaning programs.
Self-clean cannot start remotely
Some functions can be started remotely, but Dacor does not allow that for self-clean. It has to be set at the oven itself.
Parts
Modernist parts are ordered by model and serial number. Steam system parts such as the reservoir mechanism, sensors and drain parts are specific to these ovens.
Repair or replace
Sensor, lock, fan and steam-path repairs are usually worth doing on a Modernist oven. On an older Dacor with a control no longer available, replacement becomes worth comparing.
