Monogram ovens,
specifically.

Monogram is a GE Appliances brand whose wall ovens range from the 2000s ZET7 series to knob-controlled models such as the ZET1 and current LCD models like the ZTS90, alongside and Advantium-based speed ovens in 120V and 240V versions. Its ovens report through GE's control families, but the speed ovens and the older models each have code behavior of their own.

The Monogram lineup

What is particular
to Monogram.

Monogram covers 27-inch and 30-inch single and double wall ovens from the 2000s ZET7 series to current LCD models, plus Advantium speed ovens. The age and control type change the code list, so the full model number matters.

Knob controls on some models

Monogram wall ovens like the ZET1 are set with a mini knob that you turn to adjust and press to confirm, rather than with a keypad alone. A worn knob or encoder can look like a control problem.

Speed ovens in two voltages

Monogram's speed ovens are built on Advantium: the ZSC2200 to ZSC2202 run on 240 volts, while the later ZSB9131 is a 120-volt built-in. Both use the Advantium code list, where F1 and F2 point at the thermal sensor.

Symbols instead of words on older ovens

Older Monogram convection wall ovens show ⊃ for Sabbath mode and LOC for the control lockout. Owners often read these as failures when they are settings.

A current LCD that asks you to dismiss

Newer Monogram wall ovens such as the ZTS90 show function codes on an LCD. The manual's first step is to dismiss the code and let the oven cool before trying again.

Parts

Common sensors, locks and elements for Monogram wall ovens come through GE Appliances' parts supply. Trim, knobs and speed-oven parts are more specific and may need ordering.

Repair or replace

Monogram ovens are high-end built-ins, and repairing a sensor, latch or speed-oven part is usually the better value. On models from the early 2000s, a failed control board may be hard to replace.

Questions about
Monogram ovens.

What does the backward C on my Monogram oven mean?
On older Monogram convection ovens, ⊃ means Sabbath mode is set, and two of them mean it is baking in that mode. It is a setting, not a problem.
My Monogram speed oven shows F1. Is it the same as F1 on a GE oven?
No. On Monogram's Advantium speed ovens F1 means an open thermal sensor. GE's wall ovens use F1 for the keypanel.
Why will the keypad on my older Monogram only beep?
LOC on the display means the control lockout is on. Clock, timer and light still work; the lockout is turned off through the special features menu.
Is the Monogram ZSB9131 a microwave or a wall oven?
Monogram describes it as an Advantium built-in microwave oven running on 120 volts, installed in the wall like an oven.
