Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Monogram's own guidance for F2 on its ovens. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Press Clear/Off or Cancel.

02

Disconnect power for 30 seconds on 240V models, or a minute or two on 120V ones.

03

Book a visit if F2 returns.

Still there?

It usually turns into temperature sensor and calibration. Book with the code and the model number.

What not to do

F2 on the speed oven is not an overheat code, unlike F2 on GE wall ovens.

What you may
notice with it.

The oven problems F2 tends to arrive with. Answer these at the oven before anyone is booked.

Questions
about F2.

Can I clear F2 myself?
Press Clear/Off or Cancel. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Does F2 on my Monogram speed oven mean it overheated?
No. On the Advantium list F2 is a shorted thermal sensor, a wiring or part problem, not a temperature reading.
Should a technician replace the sensor for Monogram F2?
The sensor circuit is tested first; a shorted harness can read the same way.

Still showing F2?

Book with the code exactly as shown, the full model number, and whether you can smell gas or burning — with a code, that is where the diagnosis starts.
