Frigidaire ovens,
specifically.

Frigidaire publishes one short oven code guide, and its wall ovens, such as the Gallery 30-inch GCWS3067A, answer to it: F10 for heat, F30 for a lost probe reading, F90 to F94 for the door lock and Demo Mode for a store setting. A visit starts with that guide and the manual, so a pizza shield on the wrong rack or a screen locked on purpose is ruled out before any part is ordered.

The Frigidaire lineup

What is particular
to Frigidaire.

This page draws on the use and care manual for the Frigidaire Gallery 30-inch single wall oven, GCWS3067A, and on Frigidaire's oven code guide, which names no models. The model and serial number on the rating label are checked first, since features such as Stone-Baked Pizza differ between models.

A pizza setting can raise F10

On ovens with Stone-Baked Pizza, Frigidaire notes that F10 can come from the pizza shield sitting on the wrong rack. Moving the shield to the position in the manual and preheating again comes before anyone suspects the controls.

The screen can lock the door

The Gallery wall oven's Lock Screen setting locks the door and the controls together, and the display then shows the time, a locked note and an UNLOCK key. That screen is a setting you chose, not a failed latch.

The latch is motorized

Frigidaire asks you to give the motorized latch about 15 seconds to lock or unlock and never to force the door. Pulling on it mid-travel is how the automatic lock gets damaged.

Steam Clean and Self Clean

The Gallery manual lists a one-hour Steam Clean next to the high-heat Self Clean. Knowing which cycle was running when a lock code appeared tells the technician whether the high-heat lock was involved.

Parts

Frigidaire's wall oven manual carries an Electrolux warranty, and parts are ordered by the exact model and serial number. Availability was not confirmed on a Frigidaire source, so no lead time is promised before the label is read.

Repair or replace

A pizza shield, a locked screen or Demo Mode needs no part at all. When a code survives the reset, a sensor, latch or control repair usually makes more sense than replacing a built-in oven whose cabinet cutout limits what can take its place.

Questions about
Frigidaire ovens.

My Frigidaire wall oven shows F10 after a pizza bake. Is it broken?
Not necessarily. Frigidaire ties F10 on Stone-Baked Pizza ovens to the pizza shield sitting on the wrong rack. Check the rack position in your manual, reset the power and preheat again.
The screen on my Frigidaire says the oven is locked and shows UNLOCK. What happened?
That is the Lock Screen setting, which locks the door and controls together. Press UNLOCK and follow the screen; it gives you a code to release the oven.
How do I reset a Frigidaire wall oven after a code?
Frigidaire asks for 30 seconds without power, at the plug or the breaker. A built-in oven is usually on a breaker, and that breaker may reset other things on the same circuit.
Should I force the door if my Frigidaire shows F90 after self-clean?
No. Frigidaire warns that forcing the door damages the automatic locking system. Let it cool, reset the power and book a visit if it stays locked.
