What is particular
to Hestan.
Hestan's current catalog lists 30-, 36- and 48-inch All Gas and Dual Fuel ranges and 30- and 36-inch induction ranges; each carries its own oven. No built-in wall oven is listed on hestanappliances.com.
No current wall oven
Hestan's product menu runs from ranges and rangetops to ventilation, warming drawers and accessories, and the 2026 indoor catalog has the same sections. An oven in a wall cabinet with a Hestan badge is not on today's list, so its model plate decides which documents apply.
Two kinds of range oven
Hestan says its Dual Fuel ranges have electric ovens and its All Gas ranges have gas-fired ovens. The first question on any Hestan oven call is which of the two is in the kitchen, because the parts and the checks differ.
One fan with its own element
On the Dual Fuel ranges, Hestan's PureVection convection uses a single fan that has a heating element of its own. A convection mode that runs without heating points to that element or the fan behind it.
Features that only one version has
Hestan lists self-cleaning, the soft-close door and the MarquiseDisplay in the oven handle for the Dual Fuel oven and says the All Gas oven lacks all three. A self-clean or soft-close complaint therefore only applies to a Dual Fuel range.
Parts
Hestan's site directs indoor parts to a separate parts distributor, so the model and serial number from the oven are confirmed before a part is ordered.
Repair or replace
A range oven that will not heat or convect needs a repair to one part, such as an igniter, an element, a fan or a sensor, so the whole range rarely needs replacing.
