Questions
about C-23.

Can I clear C-23 myself?
Press OFF and restart the oven. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Does C-23 on my Dacor mean the oven is broken?
Not the oven as a whole. C-23 points to the temperature probe reading as shorted, so the cavity itself may heat normally.
Should I keep roasting with the probe after C-23 on my Dacor?
No. A shorted reading means the probe temperature cannot be trusted. Try the restart steps, and book a visit if the code comes back.

Still showing C-23?

Book with the code exactly as shown, the full model number, and whether you can smell gas or burning — with a code, that is where the diagnosis starts.
