What C-70
actually means.
Dacor Modernist ovens have a water reservoir for their Steam Bake and Steam Roast modes. C-70 means the steam sensor was found open or shorted while the oven was running.

What to do when C-70 shows on the ovenKind of codeSteam and water
The steam oven found its water tank empty, its supply short, or its steam generator slowed by scale. Refilling and seating the tank and running the descaling program come first; a pump, a level sensor or the generator is looked at only after that.

Press OFF and restart the oven.
If C-70 persists, disconnect all power for at least 30 seconds and reconnect.
If it still shows, book a visit and use modes without steam until then.

C-70 is not a low-water warning for the reservoir. It concerns the sensor that reads the steam.
