What CE
actually means.
CE means the eR7 touch panel is sending instructions to the main controller in the base of the cooker and hearing nothing back. AGA points first at the communication cable between the two and at the sockets it plugs into.

What to do when CE shows on the ovenKind of codeCommunication
The display and the main control board stopped hearing each other, or the board failed its own check. A power dip, a loose ribbon cable or moisture behind the panel is ruled out before either board is replaced, and an oven that stays on through this code is switched off at the breaker.
