What F90
actually means.
Electrolux treats F90 to F94 as one door lock family. The same ovens let you lock the door and controls on purpose, and in that case the screen gives you a code to unlock them.

The motorized lock did not reach the position the control asked for, or its switch reported the wrong one. Most often this shows during or after self-clean; the latch, its switches and the door's alignment are checked before the lock motor is replaced.

Before you book,
in this order.
Each step comes from Electrolux's own guidance for F90 on its ovens. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.
Press UNLOCK and follow the screen directions, entering the unlock code if the oven asks for one.
If you locked the oven yourself, use the code the oven showed when you set the lock.
Reset power for up to 30 seconds to clear most false codes.
Leave the door alone if it will not release, and book a visit.
Still there?
It usually turns into door lock and self-clean repair. Book with the code and the model number.
What not to do
A deliberately locked oven showing an UNLOCK key is the Door Lock and Screen Lock feature, not an F90-series code.
What you may
notice with it.
