Booking an oven visit takes only this form. It asks for no card, and nothing is owed until a technician has seen the oven and explained what it needs. ## What the form asks, and why. Whatever you fill in reaches the technician before the visit, which makes it likelier that the right element, igniter or sensor is already in the van. Filling it in commits you to nothing; the oven is priced only after it has been diagnosed. That decides who is sent and which parts come along. ### Step two A day and a window Pick the day and the arrival window that suit you, rather than waiting in from morning to evening. ### Step three How to reach the oven Where the oven is and a number to call. Mention whether it runs on gas or electricity, and add any gate code or parking note. ## After you book, the visit. The three steps above are the booking. If a new oven is the better choice, you hear that as well. 03 ### Parts in the van Bake elements, igniters and temperature sensors are carried on the van. A board or a part specific to one model is ordered by number, so passing it on at booking can spare a second trip. 04 ### Repaired, then tested hot Once the part is in, the oven is brought back up to temperature while the technician checks the reading, the fan and the door lock, instead of assuming the job is done. ## Before the technician arrives. Leave it off entirely if it smells of gas or burning or trips the breaker. ### Write down any code If a code shows, copy every character in the order it appears. The same one can mean something unrelated on another make. ### Empty the cavity Take out the racks, pans and any stones, let the oven cool, and clear the counter in front of it. No. The form never asks for card details and no deposit is taken. The repair and its cost are laid out after the diagnosis, and nothing begins until you agree. ### Where is the model number on an oven? Usually on a plate or sticker on the frame you see with the door open, sometimes on the side trim or behind a lower drawer. If you cannot reach it, book anyway: the technician will read it on site. ### Would a phone call work instead of the form? Yes. Our number and opening hours sit at the head of each page. A request sent through the form goes to the same team, even when every line is taken. ### What if the oven is not worth repairing? You hear it at the diagnosis, with the reasons, before any repair is priced.
