On newer models, try opening the door first, as Samsung's table suggests. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Why does my Samsung oven show C-d5 when older guides say C-d1? Samsung's newer NV51CG manual uses C-d5 for the same mispositioned lock that the NV51K manual calls C-d1. The checks are the same. ### C-d1 appeared after self-clean on my Samsung. Can I open the door? Try the door gently, then reset the power as Samsung describes.
