Turn the oven off and back on. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### I cleaned the floor filter but my Miele still shows F196. What did I miss? Check how the filter sits: Miele wants its curve pointing upward. Then look for a software update through the Miele app before booking a visit. ### Why would a software update help F196 on my Miele combi-steam oven? Miele includes the update among its F196 steps for DGC 6xx0 models, which suggests some cases are handled in software. If an updated oven still shows the code, service is next. --- **[Read on the site: Miele combi-steam oven showing F196 | OvenRepair.center](https://ovenrepair.center/error-codes/miele-f196/)** **[Book a visit with OvenRepair.center](https://ovenrepair.center/schedule/)**
