Close the lower door fully. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Can I use the top oven while my Maytag shows F5 E3? The code names the lower latch. Whether the control allows the upper cavity to run depends on the model, so try after a reset. ### Why does F5 E3 appear on my Maytag after self-clean? Self-clean locks the lower door with the same latch the code watches. If the latch does not report unlocked afterward, this code is the result. --- **[Read on the site: Maytag wall oven showing F5 E3 | OvenRepair.center](https://ovenrepair.center/error-codes/maytag-f5-e3/)** **[Book a visit with OvenRepair.center](https://ovenrepair.center/schedule/)**
