Demo Mode is an Electrolux showroom setting. It appears in the oven alarm guide because an oven left in this mode can look as if it has stopped working. Electrolux oven display What to do when DEMO MODE shows on the oven ### Kind of code Mode, not a failure A setting someone switched on, or a state the oven entered on purpose — a control lock, a Sabbath setting, a showroom mode that lights the display without heating. No part has broken and nothing has to be replaced. ### Usually leads to No repair Turn the oven off at the breaker and wait 45 seconds. ### Shows up as Oven Not Heating The oven turns on and the display counts, but the cavity stays cold or only lukewarm after a long preheat. ### Make Electrolux A Swedish appliance group whose US wall ovens focus on convection cooking and combination oven models. ### Source Electrolux owner support: Oven Error Codes and Alarms Guide (read 24 Sep 2026) From Electrolux's oven error codes and alarms guide; menu names vary by control. ## Before you book, in this order. Each step comes from Electrolux's own guidance for DEMO MODE on its ovens. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 Turn the oven off at the breaker and wait 45 seconds. 02 Switch the breaker back on. 03 Go to the settings menu, find demo mode and switch it off. 04 If the oven returns to demo mode by itself, book a visit. ### Cleared? The oven came through without a new part. If the same message returns during a later bake, or the oven stops heating partway through, book it as a fresh problem. ### What not to do No part has failed. Demo Mode is a setting, and switching it off is the whole fix. ## What you may notice with it. The oven problems DEMO MODE tends to arrive with. Answer these at the oven before anyone is booked. Turn the oven off at the breaker and wait 45 seconds. ### Why does Electrolux want the breaker off before leaving Demo Mode? Its guide starts with a 45-second power cycle and then the settings menu. Following that order is the documented route; there is nothing to repair. ### Can a power outage put my Electrolux oven into Demo Mode? The guide does not say what turns it on, only how to turn it off. If it keeps reappearing after outages or on its own, book a visit. --- **[Read on the site: Electrolux wall oven in DEMO MODE | OvenRepair.center](https://ovenrepair.center/error-codes/electrolux-demo-mode/)** **[Book a visit with OvenRepair.center](https://ovenrepair.center/schedule/)**
