The range covers single and double wall ovens, microwave-combination ovens and smart models with Assisted Cooking Modes. Models with a water system add a boiler, a filter and a level sensor, so the model number decides which parts come on the visit. ### A water group of codes KitchenAid documents an F7 group for the oven's water side: water level, a water boiler temperature sensor and a water filter. These only apply to ovens that use water, and they are a different job from a heating or sensor repair in the cavity. ### Two code styles side by side Besides two-part F codes, KitchenAid lists four-character codes that start with 1d, 3d, 4d or 9d. The same kind of problem, a door latch or a temperature sensor, can appear in either style depending on the control. ### Knobs that start a bake Some KitchenAid wall ovens have backlit knobs, and holding one for three seconds starts Bake at 350°F. An oven that heats when someone leans on the knob is doing what it was designed to do. ### Steam or high-heat cleaning KitchenAid ovens clean with high heat or with steam, depending on the model.
